My Project

Our school has a new, special education program this year. This classroom serves kindergarten, first, and second-grade students. We are building our classroom environment from the ground up and we have the opportunity to create a space designed to aid the unique children who call it their classroom.

Our priority is to create a supportive sensory environment with tools that can help our students navigate their school day with greater comfort, confidence, and independence.

With your support, we hope to provide tools and supplies that build both fine motor and cognitive skills.

Fine motor skills are important for our students to do small, precise actions needed for daily self-care, school work, and independent living.

These may seem like simple classroom tools, but to our students, they can make a world of difference.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
