Soaring Into Second Grade: Ready to Learn & Grow

Help me give my students the supplies and resources they need to soar into second grade feeling prepared, confident, and excited to learn, grow, and succeed from day one!

My Project

As I welcome a new group of second graders into my classroom, my goal is to create a space where every student feels welcomed, supported, and ready to learn. The beginning of the school year is an important time to establish strong routines, build confidence, and help students develop the independence they need to succeed. Pencils, glue sticks, scissors, and book bags will ensure students have essential supplies to participate in daily lessons and stay organized from day one.

These resources will help my students walk into our classroom ready to learn, explore, and grow without worrying about having the tools they need.

Phonics games and STEM puzzles will provide opportunities to practice important skills through hands on learning, while anchor chart paper will make key concepts visible and accessible. Fidget tools will support focus, and treasure box items will encourage positive classroom habits. Cleaning supplies and Kleenex will help us maintain a clean, comfortable learning environment. Together, these resources will help us start the year strong and create a classroom where every student has the opportunity to soar!
