My Project

I love the creativity, curiosity, and unique strengths my students bring to the classroom each day. My students are exceptional children, and having accessible, engaging, and sensory-friendly resources makes a meaningful difference in their ability to learn and participate. Each of these resources will help me create a classroom where my students can learn in ways that work best for them.

My goal is to provide engaging opportunities while supporting their sensory, academic, communication, and developmental needs.

The light table will provide a hands-on way for students to explore colors, shapes, letters, numbers, and other learning materials. It will make activities more engaging while supporting visual and sensory learning. The printer with colored ink will be especially valuable because it will be easily accessible right in my classroom. Many of my students benefit from visual supports, individualized activities, schedules, communication materials, and differentiated resources. Being able to quickly print these materials in color will allow me to better meet each student's individual needs without having to wait or leave the classroom. The sensory toys will give students appropriate tools to help them stay regulated, focused, and ready to learn. Having sensory options available can help students manage their sensory needs and participate more successfully in classroom activities. The apron will allow me to keep materials organized and readily available while working with my students.
