My Project

Every child deserves to walk into the classroom feeling prepared, supported, and ready to learn! This project will provide our classroom with essential school supplies, snacks, and PBIS incentives that help remove barriers and create a positive learning environment for every student.

Classroom supplies may seem like small things but they are essential to a successful school day!

This project will provide students with everyday materials such as pencils, folders, paper, erasers, and other learning essentials.

We also want to keep a supply of grab-and-go snacks in our classroom for students who may forget or are unable to bring a snack from home. A hungry child can have a difficult time focusing, learning, and participating. Having snacks available allows us to quietly meet that need and help students get through their school day ready to learn.

Our classroom also uses PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) to encourage students to make positive choices, demonstrate good behavior, show kindness, and take responsibility for their learning. PBIS incentives such as candy, fidgets, fun pencils, erasers, stickers, and small prizes give students something exciting to work toward while reinforcing the behaviors we want to see every day.

These seemingly small items can make a BIG impact. A pencil can mean a student is ready to learn. A snack can mean a student can concentrate. A fidget can help a child stay focused. A small PBIS reward can remind a student that their positive choices matter.
