My Project

The students in the LGMS Band are dedicated, talented, and eager to learn! The piano is a vital instrument in the LGMS band program, and it is used at all levels of curriculum, instruction, and musical performances.

Unfortunately, 80% of LGMS student body comes from a Title I background.

This means that they often lack both access to instruments and access to practice spaces. This project provides our students with both areas of support, and will be vital to the overall success of the LGMS band program this year.

When completed, this project will serve as a centerpiece of the LGMS band program at the instructional level and the performance level.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
