Help me give my students a ChompSaw so they can cut cardboard safely and build their own STEM creations.

My Project

A lot of our STEM projects start with cardboard, but cutting it can be one of the hardest parts for students to do on their own. They have big ideas, and I want them to be able to do more of the building themselves.

A ChompSaw would give my students more independence during the building process and let them take their designs further.

During our Dot Day engineering challenge, for example, students will use mystery materials to create something useful. With a ChompSaw, they could measure and cut cardboard pieces themselves, test their designs, and make changes as needed. We would use it throughout the year for prototypes, models, and other hands-on STEM projects.
