Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My multilingual students need high-impact visual tools, core organizational supplies, and engaging reading materials to bridge the gap between language acquisition and content mastery. ​Basic items like two-pocket folders, dry-erase markers, and cardstock paper create a structured environment where every student enters class prepared and focused. Graphic supplies, such as butcher paper rolls, chart markers, and color-coding materials, allow my students to construct visual anchor charts, map out complex vocabulary, and illustrate concepts when written English feels overwhelming. These visual supports turn abstract language into concrete, accessible ideas.

​The requested books, games and literacy resources will give my students crucial practice with contextual reading, expanding their vocabulary and boosting comprehension at their own pace.

When students draw, organize, and interact directly with text and art supplies, they actively take ownership of their learning.

​By funding this project, you provide my students with the fundamental tools necessary to overcome language barriers, express their knowledge with confidence, and thrive in our classroom community. Every marker, folder, game and book helps build a pathway toward academic success.
