Chomp, Chomp! Cardboard Chomp Saw

Help me give my students the ChompSaw Maker Bundle and the hand2mind Makerspace task cards to allow more students to openly use the makerspace!

My Project

Our library makerspace is always getting better at serving more of our student body. Everyone is invited to come and use the makerspace to develop higher level thinking skills and use open-ended problems to develop solutions.

With the addition of the incredibly safe Chomp Saw, even our students with disabilities will be able to participate in building cardboard solutions.

This saw will not cut or hurt anyone through its ingenious design, making it safe for all students to use it. One of our students loves to spend long periods of time cutting paper into smaller pieces or punching holes in it. This Chomp Saw will be able to give him a new sensory input with a motor buzzing from the cutter while having the same output of making cardboard into smaller pieces. He will not be the only one that will find this saw satisfying.
