My Project

My 35 Literature & Film students are surrounded by movies, videos, and digital media every day, but I want them to experience what it means to be the person behind the camera. Literature and film give students a powerful way to explore stories, perspectives, cultures, and real-world experiences. I want to turn our classroom into a space where students can move beyond simply watching and analyzing films to creating their own.

With VJIANGER 4K Digital Cameras, GIGASTONE SD Cards, and Skytex Soft-box Lighting Kits, my students will have the opportunity to create short films, documentaries, interviews, scenes, and visual adaptations of the literature we study.

They will learn how camera angles, lighting, sound, setting, and visual choices can change the way a story is understood.

These materials will also encourage collaboration and creativity. Students will work together as directors, actors, writers, camera operators, and editors while developing communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Most importantly, these cameras will give my students a chance to see themselves as creators and storytellers.
