Help me give my students different types of theater box candy and a variety of squishies to reward them for their hard work and positive behavior.

My Project

This is my 20th year teaching at an amazing Title I school. I love my students and want to see them succeed in school and in life. This will be my third year teaching STEAM. I am also on our Core Behavior Team.

Because a school near us closed this year, we are adding more than 80 new students (not including kindergarteners and students from other schools) and we know this is going to be a big transition for many of our children.

This is why I am looking for ways to encourage all of our students to work hard and try their best. I know squishies are a big hit right now, and they are also great stress relievers. These would be perfect rewards to encourage hard work and positive behavior. I would also like to have theater boxes of candy to use as rewards too. I want our students to know we believe in them and see all of the effort they are putting into their education.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
