My Project

This project will give my students a classroom library that invites them to explore, imagine, and fall in love with reading. This project will provide colorful picture book bins, chapter book bins, and a bookshelf display area that will make books more accessible, organized, and exciting for every learner.

Picture book bins will help students easily find stories that match their interests, while chapter book bins will encourage growing readers to explore new genres and discover books they love.

The bins will be organized by science and social studies standards and the chapter books by authors and genres. A display bookshelf will allow me to create themed book displays throughout the year, highlighting seasonal stories, classroom topics, and diverse characters that help students see themselves and the world around them in books.

A welcoming, organized library space encourages students to choose books independently, build reading habits, and share their love of stories with classmates. These materials will help transform our classroom library into a colorful place where students feel inspired to read, imagine, and learn every day
