My Project

My scholars are bright, creative, and capable of doing great things. Many come to school without the supplies they need because of financial challenges at home. I never want a lack of supplies to become a reason a scholar cannot participate. These materials will remove that barrier and help every student feel prepared, supported, and ready to learn.

Writing and note taking are at the heart of my classroom.

My scholars use their notebooks to take notes, complete assignments, organize ideas, and reflect on what they are learning. Many students fill two or three notebooks during the school year because writing is such a major part of our class. At the end of each semester, their notebooks are graded as part of their final exam. They take great pride in their notes and work together to make sure no important information is left behind. Their notebooks become a running record of everything they have learned. Seeing middle school scholars take that much pride in their notebooks is next level awesome. The pencils and erasable colored pens will help every scholar participate, correct mistakes, and keep their work clear, organized, and meaningful.

The dry erase classroom sets and markers will support guided practice, responses, review games, and checks for understanding. The privacy shields will help scholars focus during independent work and assessments. The headphones will allow them to complete lessons, listen to directions, and watch learning videos without distracting others. The display stands will hold directions, examples, reminders, and information about our Raven Flight classroom culture.

The tissues will help scholars with allergies, colds, or runny noses care for themselves without using their sleeves. The disinfecting wipes and sprays will help us keep our classroom clean and comfortable. Together, these resources will help my scholars learn, participate, stay organized, and soar.
