Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students at my school are truly sweet and they want to learn. We are a school of about 1200 students; ranging from PreK to 8th grade. My students live in a rural area and some of them lack basic supplies to ensure their success in school. I love that my students are dedicated and try their very best. They are willing to support each other and are truly kind to one another.

My goal for this project is to give my students a chance to be creative and have fun while learning.

This year each of my students will be tasked with maintaining an interactive notebook for math and science based on activities in the Daily Science book. Students can use the materials from this project to display their creativity while also showing what they have learn about each concept/skill. This not only assess their knowledge but it gives them freedom and accountability for their learning.

My students will use to the composition notebook to keep up with their math and science notes. The printer will be used to print out the pages that the students design using their chromebooks. The headphones are needed to listen to science video and audiobooks. The color pencils and crayons will be used to assist them with designing their pages and color premade pages. The TPT gift card will be used to purchase some premade science and math pages for their notebooks.

My students and I will greatly appreciated your support and donations for this project.
