My Project

Every day, students stop by my office for a snack, a drink, a conversation, or simply a place to take a breath. As a high school assistant principal, I have learned that relationships are built in the small moments. A bag of chips or a sports drink often opens the door to conversations about grades, friendships, college plans, jobs, attendance, family struggles, and future goals. Last year, I spent hundreds of dollars from my own pocket to keep my office stocked because I never wanted a student to feel unwelcome. Your support will allow me to continue creating a safe, welcoming space where students feel seen, valued, and cared for. These snacks and drinks are more than refreshments—they are opportunities to build trust, encourage students, and help young people succeed both in school and in life.
