My Project

As our school continues to grow and adapt to better support student learning, we are transitioning from students taking Chromebooks home each day to keeping devices safely stored and accessible within classrooms. This change will help reduce technology damage, charging challenges, and situations where devices are not fully prepared for learning. By keeping Chromebooks in classrooms, we can ensure that students have reliable access to technology when it is needed most—for instruction, collaboration, research, and meaningful educational experiences—while encouraging a healthier balance between school technology use and personal screen time at home.

When students have reliable access to organized, fully charged technology, they have greater opportunities to collaborate, create, and engage in meaningful learning experiences.

The Chromebook charging stations and media center charging cart will help ensure that students can quickly access the devices they need without interruptions caused by missing chargers or low batteries. These resources will create a more organized learning environment where technology is always ready to support instruction, research, collaboration, and independent learning.

By providing a consistent place for Chromebooks to charge and be stored, students will spend more time focused on learning and less time troubleshooting technology issues. Whether students are completing assignments, exploring new ideas, conducting research, or working together on digital projects, these resources will help maximize instructional time and create a classroom and media center environment where every student is prepared to succeed.
