I have diverse students that face many challenges such as poverty, English as a second language, and academic and behavior problems. Volume, concentration issues, and a "pulse" in the building are consistently evident. Despite this, they come to school with positive attitudes and put forth effort to make changes and work to the best of their ability. We are blessed with a new facility that is now a STEAM magnet school, enrolling more students and making huge gains in growth, grades, and assessment scores. Not to mention passion and motivation improving among students. Staff, students, and parents are working together to become successful throughout the years spent here.

About my class
