This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a Social Worker, I work to bridge the gap between school and home by removing barriers many of our families experience food insecurity, homelessness, and financial hardship. While our students receive free breakfast and lunch at school, many arrive hungry between meals or dont have access to snacks after school helps provide snacks for students who are in need, ensuring they can stay focused, engaged, and ready to learn throughout the school day.

Together, we can help remove barriers, meet needs, and create opportunities for every child to thrive.
