Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classrooms needs a safe, organized place to store and charge our iPads so students can easily access the technology they use to support their learning. Right now, having a designated charging station would help keep devices organized, protected, and ready to use when students need them. A vertical storage system will allow students to independently locate and return their iPads, while a charging tower will ensure that all devices can be charged at the same time.

Having a dedicated iPad station will also help build independence and responsibility in our kindergarten classrooms.

Students will learn to care for classroom technology by following a consistent routine for getting, using, returning, and charging their devices. With iPads charged and readily accessible, we can spend less instructional time managing technology and more time engaging students in meaningful learning experiences.
