Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students come to school each day with curiosity, excitement, and a willingness to try, even when learning may look different for them. Each student is unique, and I admire their determination, honesty, creativity, and the way they celebrate every accomplishment—no matter how big or small. Watching them grow in confidence, communication, independence, and social skills is one of the most rewarding parts of being their teacher.

The resources in this project will help my students feel safe, comfortable, and ready to learn.

The sensory tent and bean bag chairs will provide a calming space where students can regulate their emotions, take sensory breaks, and return to learning feeling refreshed and supported. These flexible seating options will help students feel secure while improving their focus and engagement during classroom activities.

Snacks will help support students’ physical and sensory needs, ensuring they are comfortable and prepared to participate throughout the day. Cleaning wipes and baby wipes will help us maintain a safe, clean, and healthy classroom environment while supporting students as they continue developing self-care and independence skills.

Together, these resources will create a nurturing classroom where my students feel valued, understood, and empowered to learn in ways that meet their individual needs. Your support will help provide the tools they need to grow, gain confidence, and reach their fullest potential.
