This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Expo markers are an essential tool in our kindergarten classroom. Using dry-erase boards encourages students to take risks, learn from mistakes, and build confidence because they can easily erase and try again. These markers make learning interactive, hands-on, and fun while helping young learners strengthen the foundational skills they need for success.

Last year, my kindergarten students looked forward to our phonics whole-group and small-group lessons, especially when we used dry-erase boards and Expo markers.

These hands-on activities kept them actively engaged while they practiced letter formation, decoding, segmenting, blending sounds, writing words, and building confidence in their early reading skills.

Each student kept their own dry-erase markers in a personal pencil pouch, the markers were used so frequently, most students went through an average of four Expo markers during the school year. Your donation will go a long with. Thank you for your support.
