Building Positive Behaviors Through Check-In/Check-Out Rewards

Help me give my students a variety of age-appropriate rewards such as fidget toys, stickers, school supplies, journals, puzzles, books, snacks (if permitted by our district), and small incentive items.

My Project

Every day, my students work hard to make positive choices, build strong relationships, and develop the social-emotional skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. Our Check-In/Check-Out (CICO) program provides students with daily encouragement, goal setting, and accountability by connecting them with a caring adult at the beginning and end of each school day.

One of the most effective parts of this program is recognizing students' progress with meaningful rewards.

These incentives help motivate students to stay engaged, meet behavioral goals, and celebrate their growth. Unfortunately, our current supply of rewards is limited, making it difficult to consistently recognize students' achievements.

With your support, we hope to provide a variety of age-appropriate rewards such as fidget toys, stickers, school supplies, journals, puzzles, books, snacks (if permitted by our district), and small incentive items. These rewards will help reinforce positive behavior, increase attendance, improve self-confidence, and encourage students to continue making responsible choices.

Many of the students participating in our Check-In/Check-Out program face social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. A simple reward paired with positive adult encouragement can make a lasting difference in a child's day. These incentives are more than prizes—they represent recognition, hope, and the belief that every student is capable of success.

By donating to this project, you are helping create a positive school environment where students feel valued, motivated, and empowered to reach their goals. Your generosity will provide consistent encouragement for students as they build confidence, strengthen positive habits, and experience success one day at a time.
