My Project

My middle school science classroom is a place where students learn by doing. Every day they work together on hands-on labs, STEM challenges, projects, and investigations that spark curiosity and build critical thinking skills. Unfortunately, the furniture in our classroom doesn't support the exciting learning taking place. Our science tables are nearly 50 years old, and we constantly repair, repaint, and patch them just to keep them usable. The chairs are a mismatched collection of old wooden and plastic chairs, many of which are uncomfortable, broken, or beyond repair. Each year we lose another chair or two, making it even more difficult to provide every student with a comfortable place to learn.

New science tables and chairs would completely transform our classroom.

The updated tables would provide a safe, sturdy workspace for labs and collaborative activities while creating more open space for students to move around during experiments and group work. Comfortable, matching chairs would allow students to focus on learning instead of being distracted by broken or uncomfortable seating.

My students deserve a classroom that reflects how much they are valued. Your support will provide more than just new furniture—it will create a welcoming environment where students can collaborate, explore, and develop a love for science.
