My students and I, although in middle school spend most of the day together in my room. It is their home-base, their safe place and I am so thankful for that. I strive to make my classroom as safe, welcoming, comforting, and accessible as possible for all students to meet their needs both academically, socially and emotionally. \r\n\r\nYour donations have allowed us to grow our calm down corner and provide some much needed coping tools. The weights dogs get used daily, the bean bag pillow is a favorite to reset with. The wiggle cushions are often taken with students to the general education classes to allow them to be successful.
