My Project

Most of my students are economically challenged, and many come without the basic supplies they need to be successful and feel clean and healthy. The cleaning and school supplies will ensure all students can access the content and instruction. The feminine supplies will ensure that my young ladies have access to appropriate products to address their social-emotional and physical needs.

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs clearly teaches that students' most basic needs must be met for learning to occur.

Removing these boundaries allows me to create a classroom culture where students feel seen and heard, and therefore, ready to take academic and personal risks that lead to success!
