Help me give my students incentives during groupwork, classwork, and assessments. High School students will work for food and candy. Help fill my cabinets in my classroom to incentivize coming to school and actively working in the classroom.

My Project

I have not met my Math 3 and AP Calculus yet, but I can’t wait to meet them in August. Sometimes they need a boost and would love snacks and candy to incentivize being at school and in the classroom.

In my classroom, I will have anywhere from students who are top of their class in AP Calculus and Math 3 Honors to those students who struggle in Math 3 and really do not want to be there.

I will also be teaching a class with students of disabilities that just struggle in general in school.

Our population of students is at least 50% free and reduced lunch and when they see snacks and candy they have something to get excited about.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
