My Project

My students are some of the most determined, creative, and inspiring learners I have had the privilege of teaching. They come to school ready to grow, build independence, and develop the skills they need for successful futures. Many of my students are autistic learners who thrive when they have structure, meaningful choices, and opportunities to show what they can do.

The binders and sheet protectors will help my students create and maintain their OCS portfolios, which showcase their accomplishments, career exploration, workplace skills, and personal growth.

These portfolios allow students to take pride in their achievements while practicing important skills like organization, responsibility, and self-advocacy.

The flexible seating options, including bucket seats with cushions, will support my students’ sensory needs while also teaching valuable vocational and independent living skills. Students will learn to care for their materials, maintain their space, make choices, and participate in a classroom environment that mirrors the expectations of real-world settings.

These resources will help my students feel confident, capable, and prepared as they continue building the skills needed for life after high school.
