Flexible seating will give my students greater independence and help create a classroom environment where their individual needs are respected and supported.\r\n\r\nThe supplies will also help my students complete their OCS (Occupational Course of Study) portfolios, which document their growth, accomplishments, work experiences, skills, and progress throughout their four years in our program. These portfolios are much more than a graduation requirement—they are a tangible record of how far each student has come.\r\n\r\nUnfortunately, many of my students and their families cannot afford the materials needed to create a high-quality portfolio. This funding will ensure that every student has access to the supplies they need, regardless of their family's financial circumstances.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, I want my students to look at their completed portfolios at the end of their four years and feel proud of themselves and everything they have accomplished.
