My Project

This year, I am teaching my 6th grade students to begin or grow their love of reading! From exciting, relatable reads that expand their vocabulary and grow their literacy, to treats that help fill their bellies. My students will have the opportunity to view books and learning as something to look forward to and cherish, versus just something they are required to do. A lot of times, students cannot "see" themselves in what they read, and they struggle to find interest, and subsequently lose the desire to read. Please help me foster an environment for reading, achieving and thriving!
