My Project

We recognize the contributions of so many diverse groups, as well as celebrate holidays in a variety of way in kindergarten. Some celebrations are more somber, while others are a little silly (Arrgh, Matey!). Students are exposed to others that may look, speak, or celebrate differently than they do...and that's great! To help students celebrate Constitution Day, Patriot Day, Talk Like a Pirate Day, Fall, Hispanic Heritage Month, and Thanksgiving, I would like to provide students with enriching experiences, decor, crafts, books, and more!

Please help me provide immersive experiences, and tokens to remember the events by.

Young learners experience the world by doing, not just hearing. By providing experiences, visuals, and hands-on learning, my students are more apt to remember what they learned and why it's important.
