My Project

My students end each day in my 90-minute art class, where they are expected to think creatively, stay focused, and engage in hands-on projects that require energy and concentration. By the second half of the school year, many students arrive to class hungry because lunch was hours earlier—and hunger quickly becomes a barrier to learning, participating, and expressing themselves through art.

I am requesting grab-and-go snacks to help sustain my students during these long afternoon classes.

Having snacks available will help them stay energized, focused, and motivated as they work through challenging art techniques, collaborate with peers, and complete their projects with pride.

Providing snacks will not only support students’ well-being but will also help create an encouraging classroom environment where every student feels cared for and ready to learn. These small items will make a big impact on their ability to do their best creative work during the final stretch of the school day.
