My Project

My first-grade students are learning to become confident, independent readers, and Tonies would provide an engaging way to strengthen their literacy skills. These interactive audio characters allow students to listen to high-quality read-alouds while following along with a printed copy of the book, helping them build fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and a love of reading.

Tonies would be a valuable addition to our classroom listening center, giving students the opportunity to hear stories read with expression and proper pacing while practicing important literacy skills independently.

By providing access to a variety of stories and characters, Tonies encourages imagination, improves listening skills, and fosters a lifelong enjoyment of books. This grant would help create an inclusive, engaging literacy environment where every student has the opportunity to grow as a reader while developing independence and confidence.
