This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I believe my students are fully capable of reaching their highest potential when they are focused and engaged in learning. Too often, valuable instructional time is lost because students are distracted by their phones, need to leave class for water, or simply need a moment to reset. Creating a classroom where essential resources are readily available will help maximize learning while meeting students' everyday needs. My students deserve a classroom that feels like home—a safe, welcoming space where they can be their authentic selves, remain focused, and grow into the high-flying scholars I know they can become.
