This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at a Title 1 school, and I am in my 3rd full year of teaching. I plan on using these items to enhance my classroom social, emotional, and learning environment. Being new to my school, I want to make sure my students can be successful to the best of my abilities.

Student hands-on learning is important, and I want to use this to continue maintaining a growth mindset in the classroom environment.

I want to ensure that my students have a calming corner to create a safe space for all within my classroom.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
