My Project

Our scholars are brilliant, resilient, and deeply committed to becoming the best versions of themselves—academically, socially, and physically. At QEA, we believe that whole‑child development includes building strong bodies, healthy habits, and consistent wellness routines. The goal of our Walk, Run, Rise Initiative is to expand our wellness pillar in our school environment. We are requesting treadmills to empower students and families to strengthen their physical health, reduce stress, and experience the confidence that comes from consistent movement.

Many of our students face barriers to accessing safe fitness spaces outside of school.

By bringing treadmills into our learning environment, we create an opportunity for scholars to learn how to incorporate exercise into their daily routines, build endurance, and develop lifelong wellness habits. These treadmills will serve as teaching tools, and also tools to incorporate movement in the academic environment. This project supports our commitment to nurturing well‑rounded scholars who understand the value of caring for their bodies as they pursue excellence in all areas of life. Treadmills will be used as educational tools within the classroom, and will be used to provide classroom fitness time, stress relief and movement breaks during the school day. They will also be utilized to encourage goal setting, progress tracking, and to promote overall school wellness.
