My Project

As I begin my second year of teaching high school Animal Science, one of my biggest goals is to create a classroom where students are actively involved in their learning every day.

The materials for this project will allow students to build interactive notebooks throughout the school year.

Instead of simply copying notes, they'll create hands-on pages that include vocabulary practice, diagrams, foldables, labeling activities, and review resources. Students will organize their learning in one place, making it easier to study for quizzes, exams, and FFA competitions while reinforcing important concepts in a fun and engaging way.

My students come from a variety of backgrounds and have many different learning styles. Interactive notebooks help make lessons more accessible by allowing students to see, write, create, and interact with the content. By giving students ownership of their notebooks, they'll build a personalized resource that supports their learning long after each lesson is over.
