Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten class is made up of various cultures, languages, and socioeconomic backgrounds, with many different levels of learning. I strive to provide the necessary materials to create a positive and safe environment that allows for every student to be successful in their learning, no matter of their differences.

Imagine creating a special area for students to stay actively engaged, allow for collaboration, and promote participation that would become the heart of our learning space!

The easel would become a gathering place where ideas are shared, questions are explored, and accomplishments are celebrated. It would be used not only for academic purposes such as creating classroom anchor charts and magnetic phonics or math activities but will also allow for working on a vertical surface that promotes bilateral coordination and spatial awareness, building the core strength, shoulder stability, and fine motor control required for handwriting.

With your support you will help set the stage for their ideas and a canvas for their thinking!
