Help me give my students a calming counseling space with sensory tools, flexible seating, and emotional regulation resources that help every Eagle feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.

My Project

My kindergarten through second-grade students are bright, curious, and eager to learn, but many are still developing the skills to understand and manage their emotions. This year, we are also welcoming many new students, making a safe and supportive counseling space more important than ever.

The rocking chair, floor pouf, weighted lap blankets, sensory tools, and noise-reducing headphones will help students regulate emotions and regain focus.

Feelings charts, coping strategy posters, the breathing ball, and emotions flipbook will teach healthy self-regulation skills, while the storage organizer will keep materials easily accessible.

These resources will support individual counseling, small groups, classroom lessons, and crisis response, helping every Eagle feel safe, build confidence, and return to class ready to learn and soar.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
