My Project

Every child deserves the opportunity to become a confident reader. As a third-grade teacher, I am passionate about creating a classroom where every student feels supported, encouraged, and empowered to reach their full potential. I believe every child can succeed when given the right opportunities and resources to thrive.

Third grade is a pivotal year, as students transition from learning to read to reading to learn.

Many of my students enter third grade reading below grade level, making it a challenge to close learning gaps while helping them meet grade-level expectations. With engaging literacy experiences and targeted instruction, I know my students can build the confidence and skills they need to become successful readers. Reading and language resources used during small-group instruction and literacy centers will allow me to differentiate learning, provide individualized support, and make literacy meaningful and engaging for every student.
