This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Preparing for my National Board Certification is deeply important to me as a Kindergarten teacher who is committed to growing and giving my students my very best. I will use the flash card study system daily for focused review and practice, helping me master key concepts and strengthen my instructional knowledge. I will apply what I learn by using more effective strategies, better supporting each child’s individual needs, and creating meaningful learning experiences that inspire confidence and a love for learning.

As I continue to grow professionally, my students will benefit from stronger literacy, math, and critical thinking skills.

In the long term, this foundation will support their success not only in first grade, but throughout their entire academic journey.
