A New Kitchen for Little Learners

Help me give my students a new dramatic play kitchen to replace our worn-out one.

My Project

My Pre-K students are 4- and 5-year-olds who learn best through hands-on experiences and play. Dramatic play is one of the most loved areas in our classroom because it gives children opportunities to imagine, communicate, solve problems, and build friendships. Our classroom kitchen has brought years of joy, but it has reached the point where the stove door is broken and the microwave control panel has begun to fall off from years of daily use. Replacing it with a new dramatic play kitchen will provide my students with a safe and engaging space where they can continue learning through pretend play while strengthening language, social-emotional, math, and early literacy skills. A new kitchen will help keep their imaginations growing for years to come.
