Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, it is important that we teach our students the importance of keeping their classroom environment clean and disinfected. We are requesting Lysol wipes, paper towels, and air freshener.

This school year, we plan to focus on teaching our EC students the importance of cleaning up after themselves after breakfast/lunch and before they leave school for the day.

Cleanliness is an important aspect to remain healthy. When students are healthy, it decreases absenteeism and the risk of falling behind in their studies.

By focusing on cleaning as an important daily living skill, we are not only protecting the students, but the staff as well, from sickness.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
