My Project

As I get ready for year two in the classroom, there are several big-ticket items that I inherited that need to be replaced. Our cardboard mailbox system is sagging. It would be easier for students to file papers with a wooden mailbox that the name labels will stick to. The file I keep copies of only has one working drawer and also needs to be replaced. My students would love a new pencil sharpener since ours will not consistently work. I’m hoping that an auto pencil sharpener will do the trick. It’s also the time of year to replace consumable things like stamps and markers. Finally, the Wings of Fire series would be a special treat for the students. This past year, my class often borrowed these books from other teachers since I did not have a set on my shelf. They were the coveted books!
