My Project

My second graders are in need of a place to store their personal belongings; backpack, jacket, and lunch box. A mobile backpack cubbie would do just that!

This mobile backpack cubbie would be large enough to store each student's backpack, jacket, and lunch box.

I currently have multiple coat hooks that hang behind the classroom door. These hooks are not very large and it is difficult to hang both a backpack and a jacket on each one. Many times students' backpacks or jackets will end up falling down on the floor causing a tripping hazard. With the hooks being behind the classroom door it can be difficult to open the door to its fullest allowing access into and out of the room challenging.

During times of sickness I would like to be able to have the students personal items in their own space, preventing germs from spreading as easily. This mobile backpack cubbie would allow for students items to not be mixed together and slowing the spread of unwanted sicknesses.
