This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a school counselor, I have the privilege of supporting our 5th-grade students as they begin an exciting and important school year. Fifth grade is filled with new responsibilities, higher academic expectations, leadership opportunities, and preparation for the transition to middle school. While many students are excited, others experience anxiety, self-doubt, and uncertainty as they adjust to a new school year.

I am requesting pre-made inspirational bracelets for our 5th-grade students to receive during our Back-to-School counseling activities, that will serve as a simple but powerful reminder that our students are valued, capable, and supported throughout the school year.

Your generous support will provide every 5th-grade student with an inspirational bracelet to begin the school year. These bracelets will help create a sense of unity among students while reinforcing important messages about confidence, perseverance, and belonging.
