Growing Strong Minds: Creating an SEL Hub for K–5 Students

My Project

My students are resilient, caring, and eager to learn, but many face challenges that impact their emotional well-being. The half-moon tables will create a welcoming space for group counseling where students can come together, share, and connect without sitting at traditional classroom desks, which can be a source of stress for some learners. This flexible setup encourages open conversation, collaboration, and relationship-building. SEL resources and activities will help students develop coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, and problem-solving strategies, empowering them to overcome challenges and thrive both in and out of the classroom.
