My Project

Our school’s athletic department is committed to creating meaningful opportunities for student-athletes and ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed both on and off the field. Limited funding continues to present challenges in meeting essential program needs. To help address these needs, we are requesting support in obtaining items such as Gatorade and chips for our student-athletes. Unlike traditional concession stand inventory, these items will not be sold and are intended solely for use by our student-athletes during practices, games, tournaments, and other athletic events. Access to these snacks and beverages helps provide students with convenient nutrition and hydration during long periods of physical activity. Having these resources readily available demonstrates our commitment to student wellness while also helping reduce barriers that may prevent some athletes from performing at their best.

Providing healthy support options allows coaches and staff to better care for students throughout the athletic season and contributes to a positive experience for all participants.

In addition to supporting student wellness, providing Gatorade and chips can positively impact athletic performance and overall program success. Student athletes often expend significant energy during practices and competitions, making proper hydration and nutrition critical. Gatorade helps replenish fluids and electrolytes lost through sweat, while chips can provide a quick source of carbohydrates and calories to help sustain energy levels during demanding activities. Proper hydration and nutrition can improve focus, endurance, recovery, and overall performance, while reducing the negative effects of fatigue and dehydration. Ensuring athletes have access to these items also helps create a supportive environment where students feel valued and cared for by their school community. By investing in these resources, we are investing directly in the health, safety, and success of our student-athletes. This support will strengthen our athletic program.
