My Project

Every school year, my goal is to provide the basic materials to ensure my students have an opportunity at academic success. Without sufficient tools, learning is difficult to obtain. Making sure every student has the necessary school supplies helps give all children an equal opportunity to learn and thrive.

Each student deserves to start the school year with the supplies they need, regardless of their circumstances.

Pencils, crayons and glue are fundamental items in a kindergarten classroom. They are utilized regularly while kids engage in learning of new content and skills. Kindergarten participates in refining their fine motor skills in the beginning of the school year. Crayons will aid in enhancing dexterity and the glue sticks enhance hand-eye coordination. The pencils can be utilized for improving pencil grip while learning and producing letter formation, numbers and eventually words and sentences.

Additional supplies are helpful, as well. Laminating pouches, tape, ink, printer paper and cardstock are essential classroom supplies that will be used to create educational crafts, visual aids, and classroom decor. The sentence strips are used for crafts while celebrating holidays throughout the school year. The paper folders are used to organize orientation materials. Testing documents, and other important classroom paperwork will be accessible in the plastic folders. Magnetic bookmarks help students quickly locate and return to current lessons and assignments in their workbooks.

Tissues, hand sanitizer, and a carpet sweeper help maintain a clean, healthy, and safe classroom environment. These supplies reduce the spread of germs, support student hygiene, and keep learning spaces clean and comfortable for students.
