Giving My Kids More Experience in the Electrical Trade

My Project

One of the essential skills in the electrical trade is to understand how to cut, ream and thread rigid conduit. It is not a skill that everyone has or understands. Knowing how to cut, ream and thread pipe can be the difference between being laid off, a pay raise or a better job. It also makes the student a more valuable employee, as they can also teach others, that do not know how to do this highly technical part of the electrical craft. I want to give my kids every opportunity to advance further in the electrical trade and not be pigeon-holed into a helper position. My goal is to train electricians, not helpers, to teach the next generation of leaders in the construction industry.
