Crazy Pajamas for Crazy Great Students!

Help me give my students clean and special pajamas to wear on pajama day!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Last year, we launched our new PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions & Support) system and saw incredible results! Our plan included a school-wide school and emotional learning block every day as part of a class-wide morning meeting, as well as interventions and supports for students and teachers to create a safe and caring learning environment. A large component of our plan was our Complimentx Card system. Compliment Cards are given school-wide to students and classes that demonstrate our PRIDE characteristics (Promoting Kindness, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence). As students earned Compliment Cards for their classes, they received small celebrations for their teamwork. Special events included hat and pajama days, extra recess, popcorn and a movie, popsicles, and more!

We would like to purchase a set of clean and fun pajamas for students to borrow if they forget or don't have pajamas to wear from home.

These pajamas include nightgowns, shorts, pajama pants, matching tops and bottoms and much more!

We hope that by having a PRIDE shop where students can find pajamas to wear, we can help ensure equity and increase students' confidence if they know they can always find pajamas to wear to celebrate with their class.
