My Project

My elementary art students are creative, curious, energetic learners who thrive when they are given opportunities to make, explore, and imagine. Our art room is often the place where students feel safe taking creative risks, building confidence, and expressing emotions and ideas visually. They love experimenting with new materials, collaborating with classmates, and having choices in their artwork.

By providing art-making centers, students will be able to work more independently, explore at their own pace, and engage in meaningful creative play that strengthens both artistic and problem-solving skills.

These art centers will transform the way students experience art class. Instead of waiting for a single whole-group activity, students will have access to multiple creative stations where they can actively engage in making art.
